Fabric Pennant Banner

I wanted to make my new banner pattern available to my community subscribers before the blog post goes live (in a few weeks). The picture below is a sample of what it will look like. The full pattern is for one 10.5 foot pennant banner and uses only 1 yard of fabric. My plan is to make a couple of them to display over the 4th of July holiday as I chose red white and blue fabric. However, this pattern can be used for any occasion…just pick the colors you want!

2 exciting things I wanted to share with you:

Bias Tape – It’s probably just me, but I didn’t realize you could purchase ROLL of bias tape…and for such a great price! I’ve only ever found the packages. I use bias tape all the time so I will definitely be buying this in my next amazon order. If you love making banners, you need this too!

Sewing Gauge – A friend of mine gifted me this several years ago and now I don’t think I’ve made anything without it. It’s so helpful for checking or double checking small measurements. This thing is amazing…and it’s less than $3!

And just a reminder…print at 100% scale, not scale to fit.
